Happy New Year

Can't believe it's 2014 already.  Hope all is well and wish you all the best in the new year.  Joie is much bigger now.  She can really eat and sleep very well.  Very independent, if we are busy or Jay doesn't play with her, she won't trouble anyone, just play with the toys herself.   Found online that Pekingese has three layers of coat, that's lucky for them this cold winter.  From time to time, she will sleep on the floor instead of the bed, maybe too hot for her?  Oh, no, how to keep her cool during summer?
We let them to stay by themselves in the second room at night.  Jay made a fuss in the beginning, which we are kind of expected.  Luckily, he settled in finally.   Kwan spoke to one of the neighbors who waited three years to buy his second dog and took the dogs a long time to get used to each other.  I guess Jay's behavior is normal then.

Dinner Time, Let's get ready.
Share it with me please.
I am tired.
Let me share a little secret with you.
Are you awake?
What are you looking at?
Let's go to bed

Times Fly

It's 3 weeks after Joie joined us.  She definitely getting bigger now.  Jay is taking his time to get around with Joie, but getting there, small step a day.    From being not directly interact with her and always stay away at a distance.   It just happened one day, at the least expected, gaps between them are closer than she first got home.  Annual checkup for Jay is good; he is now 13 lbs.  Consulted with the Vet about the bump on Joie; it's just her belly button close up with air.  If I decide to have her fix in the future, this can be fixed at the same time.  Happy to hear it's just her belly button.
